Slamp, the lighting design brand synonymous with sartorial production and innovative shapes and materials, opens its 30th anniversary celebrations presenting Veli Aurea, a reinterpretation of Veli, a light sculpture by Adriano Rachele. In this latest chapter, Slamp's multifaceted narrative continues to explore the evocative power of light, giving rise to an evocative golden declination of one of its best-loved icons.
Available in both wall-mounted and pendant versions, Veli Aurea enhances one of the brand's most representative products with a new delicate white texture made even more poetic by special interweaves of gold leaf that follow one another poetically in space, infusing harmony and a strong emotional charge. The sinuous and elegant lines of this composition are emphasised by the light which, reflecting the craquelé gold leaf details, creates sophisticated and engaging effects.
A symbol of a corporate approach that develops around in-depth research in terms of material innovation, Veli Aurea - like all the brand's creations - is made manually in Slamp's atelier by the Sarte della Luce (Women who Tailor Light) using exclusive, state-of-the-art technopolymers. This processing allows for the creation of a product in which complex configurations maintain an unexpected perception of lightness.

Veli Aurea is, therefore, the poetic expression of Slamp's thirty years of history - an anniversary that will be celebrated during 2024 with a series of initiatives and activities - and of the company's desire to create lamps that succeed in transforming everyday spaces into enchanting places, full of beauty and splendour.

Founded in 1994 by Roberto Ziliani in Pomezia (Rome), Slamp was created with the aim of reinterpreting the world of lighting creating light and colorful objects, as opposed to the traditional idea of static and heavy lamps. All the products are handcrafted with flexible technopolymers allowing the creation of well-structured and complex shapes, impossible to achieve with any other material. Luca Mazza took over the artistic direction in 2016, leading Slamp towards a considerable expansion in the contract sector, establishing itself as a leading partner in the lighting sector for custom-made projects, as well as in the retail sector, with the opening of the brand's flagship store in London in 2022.
