Order, a New York design studio, has recently revealed Herman Miller's first rebrand in more than two decades. The updated brand identity, crafted by Order, evokes a sense of nostalgia by drawing inspiration from the mid-century modern legacy of the renowned American design brand.
The previous branding, last refreshed in the late 1990s during the Web 1.0 era, showcased the "computer-friendly" FF Meta font and prominently featured the enduring M logo from 1946, displayed within a red circle. Dezeen reported on the redesign, highlighting the studio's effort to infuse a fresh and nostalgic perspective into Herman Miller's visual representation.
