Vignelli's designs for Acerbis: minimalist style combined with an interdisciplinary approach

Minimalist style combined with an interdisciplinary approach: this is the philosophy behind Lella and Massimo Vignelli's designs for Acerbis. Serenissimo and Creso, design icons of the 20th century, tell the timeless history of their aesthetics based on simplicity and visual clarity. A heritage that continues to inspire, consolidating the Vignellis' position in the contemporary design scene.

A singular form with a monolith’s silhouette, the Creso table experiments with a sole pedestal of support to transform a table into the kind of vigorous geometry that defined the eye of Lella and Massimo Vignelli.

Returned to a more faithful rendering of Vignelli’s ideas, the new Creso explores a use of materials that underlines the potency of the design, with its round top and pillar base crafted formidably in travertine, or topped by glass and marble, braced by a base with various metallic finishes.
