Founded in Athens 18 years ago, Skroutz, often referred to as the "Greek Amazon", has already achieved massive success in its homeland. Now, with over 30 million products available on its platform and a workforce of 500, Skroutz aims to extend its reach to new European markets. The expansion includes countries like Ireland, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Austria, with plans to venture outside the Eurozone into Bulgaria, Romania, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Sweden. The platform experienced over 2 million unique consumers making purchases in 2023, anticipating a 25% year-on-year sales increase.

Recognising the need to optimise customer engagement for sustained growth, Skroutz partnered with MoEngage. The collaboration led to a streamlined approach in managing campaigns, with a remarkable 300% increase in campaign volume.

The automated flows also empowered Skroutz to create multichannel campaigns, delivering personalized interactions throughout the customer lifecycle. These interactions range from welcome journeys to re-engaging lapsed customers and preventing churn. Since implementing MoEngage, Skroutz has witnessed an impressive 350% increase in conversions among existing customers.
