Furniture chain Interio, with seven branches in Austria, is filing for bankruptcy. The reason for the bankruptcy are substantial revenue losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which could not be offset by online trading.
Furthermore, increased energy costs and rising rental expenses are cited as contributing factors. There is no ownership of real estate. A total of 78 employees are expected to be affected.
