As the German Train Drivers' Union (GDL) announced, the train drivers will go on strike for a limited period from 10 January 2024 to 12 January 2024 (6 pm). This strike will affect long-distance trains as well as regional and suburban trains in Germany.
The first day of Heimtextil, 9 January 2024, does not fall within the strike period. You can therefore travel to the Frankfurt exhibition grounds as usual.
