In 2023, Ukraine increased furniture exports, reaching nearly 100 million tons of goods. This is 112,000 tons more than in 2022. However, in terms of value, the indicator decreased by 18.7%, amounting to $35.8 billion. Despite the overall decline in Ukrainian goods exports, positive trends are observed in the furniture market. Compared to 2022, there was an 11% growth in volume and a 7% increase in monetary receipts last year. This is reported by Odessa Journal.

For most export items, however, the Ukrainian economy experienced a turnover decline in 2023. Through combined efforts of the Ukrainian government and international partners, maritime exports are increasing. In December, this indicator rose by a third compared to November, reaching 7.34 million tons of cargo, according to Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs, Yulia Svyrydenko.
