Dismissals concern employees across various positions, not only those in the lowest production roles. The reason for the layoffs is a decline in orders.
The Com40 Group, situated in Nowe Skalmierzyce and Ociąż near Ostrów Wielkopolski, is among Poland's largest producers of upholstered furniture. Established in 2000, it currently employs approximately 4,000 workers.
