Designer Maria Bruun has transformed her artistic vision into a functional design highlighting her signature sculptural minimalism. The design, crafted from FSC-certified solid wood, exudes an elegant and playful expression while ensuring both comfort and flexibility.
Pioneer is available in three heights, making it perfect for the flexible workplace, the bar, the kitchen, or a sculptural piece of furniture, adding extra personality to the interior.
The wooden frame is FSC-certified solid wood and comes in three variants: Oak lacquered, Smoked oak stained and Black lacquered beech. The seat cushion has a foam-covered wooden core and can be upholstered in leather and textiles.
Pioneer is designed for longevity. Keeping the materials simple and easy to disassemble ensures recyclability at end-of-life, while the removable cover provides flexibility for future purposes. Furthermore, the stool is FSC® certified and tested for severe public use - a product designed to last in a circular economy. Pioneer is expected to become EU Ecolabel certified in 2024.
