With the Mood Spaces, renowned international designers will give an insight into their designed room scenarios, including current living trends and inspiration.
The Domotex keynote theme "Floored by Nature" is taken up and highlighted, expressing the interplay between floor and wall on the one hand and carpet, decorative fabrics and furniture on the other.
Among other things, these installations serve as inspiration for specialist retailers and show, in the sense of 'concept store' formats, which products combined can represent a themed world.
The Mood Spaces designed by Holly Becker are located together with the Carpet Design Award Forum in the "Rugs area" in Hall 2.
Holly Becker
Holly Becker is an interior designer, journalist, book author and social media expert. An American living in Germany since 2009, she is a true pioneer in the design industry - she started blogging before social media existed at all, as one of the first design bloggers in the United States in 2005.
Becker has won several awards for her work as a journalist and author, including Myself magazine's Readers Choice award in 2010. She has four interior design books under the 'Decorate' series, published in nearly 20 languages around the world. Her debut book shared homes she styled from around the world by top designers such as Jonathan Adler, Vincente Wolf and Tine Kjeldsen. Decorate was one of the first design books published by a blogger in America and the very first in Germany. Today, it has sold more than 400,000 copies.
Becker later became the first "influencer" in Germany to launch her own home decor collection with Depot and later the first to launch another home decor magazine, Holly, with Gruner & Jahr, along with a podcast, Hello Holly. She also designs exhibition stands and is currently working on her next home collections for various brands in Europe and writing her 5th interior design book.
Holly Becker also gives lectures and workshops on design, social media and design trends in the US, UK and Europe at some of the world's most prestigious design events, including imm Cologne.
